I seem to be finding a new hitchhiker in this zoa rock every night. what the heck is this? It's in a spiral shaped shell. The video was taken with a new app so let me know if it works. Thanks in advance.

Edit: After doing some research I found out its a sundial snail and they are no bueno for your zoas. So its gotta go.

Sundials are a huge enemy and should be discarded

I don't think dip will dislodge sun dial snails. I always had to pick them off.

Keep an eye out for more.
Not sure, I know they recommend turkey baster to squirt over the corals while on the dip. That may be what’s needed

He can surely try it. If more show up after that. He needs to watch out in case of eggs. But if not, probably safe to not worry.

How would that get the snail out if it's hiding? Im just confused about where it was because its too big to hide in any crevices

I think the idea is the CoralRX solution agitates the critters and forces them out of hiding to seek a new place. From there, you can turkey baste then or pick them off the rock.
