What type of algae or coraline is this?

I have this Flat red circle coming of a branch growing under a frag plug, is this some type of algae, macro algae, coraline, calcium carbonate based something?
I don’t mind it, I’m hoping it branches off maybe and could form a nice structure maybe, or maybe it’s something else, have you seen this before? It’s the red circle right under the frag plug

Update! It has grown quite a bit, it seems to be branching off in 3 directions now...
is the verdict Still a sponge?

Yah it’s gracilaria hayi (red bush) it’s a macro algae, it’s sucks up phosphates and nitrates as it grows, it’s pretty awesome here are some new shots hahaha you’ll see the growth

Interesting, and attractive. What I have is just barely getting started, I t is on a frag with a Zoa and It seems to be more crimson in color than yours. I hope it becomes something like what you have rather than a problem!

You got a pic? I’m would believe the lighting and nutrient level could affect the colour of it
