What type of light would I need to grow easy SPS in a 30 gallon?

I have mine under 165 watt chinese black boxes 100 dollars on amazon.

Yes and the light is hung from fishing wire and hooks in the ceiling. Cant see the lines and it looks neat. I'm slowly going to transition to sps now that the tank is going on a year and sell off my lps.

@Gernader had great success with the vipra blackbox leds!
I’m actually using Mars Aqua, but I’m planning to switch to ViparSpectra soon to see the difference :) . To OP, you should get a black box since it’s much cheaper than other lights out there and you can grow any corals with it!

Yeah I've looked into the black boxes on Ebay the only problem is mounting it

If you can’t hang it from the ceiling, then you can use a TV mount or make a DIY mount to hang it from the side wall.

Honestly prime is a Awsome way to go they look real good give u great lighting for your investment
Black box’s can be great but true super hard to make look real good without a canopy

Yeah I'm thinking of returning this garbage Nicrew 50w light I bought and just trying to pick up a prime, but would I need 2 of them to light a 30 gallon or would 1 be fine?

What’s the dimensions?
I would recommend a prime up to about 18-20 inchs
