You're the exception since you're an OG in the hobby. Not everyone can replicate your system. No argument from me.

Sorry, Am kinda lost are you agains it or support the no quarantine?

I hate when someone takes a FTS of their tank and has a lettuce clip in the middle of the picture.

Potting soil baked to sterilize it and Purina cat chow.
Keep it very wet.
I am using soil and coco coir mixed. The culture is about 6 years old. However I let it go. I see “eggs” though and will attempt to see if it’s viable. If not I may bake it and ask you for a starter?

Got another pet peeve before this thing gets locked: :p

"I've been doing this for 20(something) years and I've never lost a fish, coral, etc."

Anyone who says that is LYING about it or how long they've been in the hobby. Even if you don’t believe in diseases/QT; fish jump out, get killed by other fish, basically accidents happen. There’s always some problem to deal with (sometimes just minor) in every tank I’ve ever owned. Murphy’s Law affects us all.

I'd have say ISO posts. people looking for things that stores have plenty of. Seems they don't want to pay the store price though.

Agree with all but the cat posts :)
My biggest grammar pet peeve. "Your" instead of "you're". Is this a thing now? Even highly educated people do it. So annoying.
