There are many different things we add or do with our tank that makes us go "that was the best thing I have done for my tank". I am wondering what is the best thing you have done for your tank? Was it finally getting rid of algae, adding that dream fish or maybe it was getting a piece of equipment you have always wanted.

Might seem stupid to some but no longer making my own water and picking it up from the store. I live on the second floor of a condo and long story short $800 fixing my downstairs neighbors ceiling from a leaky rodi something had to change. For the last 6 months I would literally just sit and watch my rodi unit fill up the bucket which took hours and really turned me off to the husbandry.

Im a lazy person in the first place but this was too much. My tank went to #$%^ and only in the last month and a half with picking up water from the store has it really turned around. It just saves me so much time and I enjoy checking in on my LFS every couple weeks and supporting their small business.

Of course in like 90%+ of scenarios it's better to make your own water but for me this is really the best solution. Corals are coming back strong.

For me, it's what I did not do for my tank. Over think it and kept it simple. Everything is basic and nothing fancy. T5 light, refugium only, skimmer and one dosing pump for AFR.
