The orange swordtails that I got as a kid, rainwater killifish (a somewhat unique killifish that I collected and bred in saltwater), and my first pair of clowns all have great memories and I was excited to get each of them. A fish that I am excited about getting (and hopefully breeding) is the Amphiprion mccullochi!
Mccullochi, Leucokranos, & Chrysopterus are my favorites, I know ORA still breeds Mccullochi clowns, I wonder if they still breed Leucokranos? Maybe I’ll call them

@WMR - how do you purchase ORA fish (or more specifically how should I purchase ORA fish)? Should I have them sent to a LFS an hour away, order through Live Aquaria, or is there another way? I am only about 2.5 hours away from their facility but I don't think they allow for pickup.

ORA doesn't have any Chrysopterus currently listed on their website, but this is a fish that I would definitely be interested in soon. The captive breeding of Leucokranos seems to be rare but ORA appears to be doing it. They are also breeding Mccullochi as well. TIA.

No, ORA doesn’t breed Chrysopterus, but I’ve seen captive bred ones on DD from Biota. If your LFS orders from ORA, they should be able to get Leucokranos for you, I’ll call them some time this week & find out.

Mine was my lighting marron clown and leopard wrasse. Sadly the wrasse died that night from the employee at the lfs not knowing what she was doing. They got a replacement coming.

Two female blue star leopards. They were my first sand sleepers, and so cool to watch them come and go from the sand bed. One has turned male, and he is lately chasing the other one around all the time, so I am hoping she isn’t also transitioning...been together about 1.5 years.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not ready for the Leucokranos quite yet, but am thinking about getting a pair after the first of the year. ORA has them listed on their website so I am assuming that they either have them or can get them.

This female KwaZulu wrasse. Her colors are cool and all, but I can’t wait to see her transition.

I would love to have a KwaZulu in my tank. However, I really love my Naoko Fairy, which is also very striking in color. Fairy Wrasses in this complex are all unusual and beautiful.

That’s a beautiful Wrasse!! Did you get him as a male or did he transition? I hoping mine gets going sooner than later. LoL.

Either the discus I had long ago or my CB mandarin. Before I ever considered reefing, I thought the mandarin was the most beautiful fish i’d ever seem.

I got my Naoko wrasse as a terminal male, but small and not fully developed. He is only about 1.75 inches.

Probably my coral beauty since it was my first really active swimmer and I’d been wanting one since I saw it but I had to wait for LFS to treat it for ich
I have one two but if It ends up fighting with the bicolor that I’m about to get, I might have to keep the bi color lol
