Quick reference for Hanna ULR. Kinda handy if you frequently test.

Are you sure that your converting the Phosphorus reading correctly? My Apex test log does the conversion for me and there is no Hanna UL Phosphorus reading that translates to that low of Phosphate. A reading of 2 on the Hanna UL Phosphorus testing converts to .01 PPM of Phosphate.
2 times 3.066 then divide by 1000 ( 2 * 3.066=6.132/1000=.006) unless I am doing it wrong but that's with the instruction say to do.

My tank is currently three years old (one in 55g and two in 90g) and testing 10ppm Nitrate and .009ppm Po4 [2 on the ULR Checker].

No signs of discoloration. Just some STN on a single sps coral that started about a week ago. Fully stocked mixed reef with small to mid sized corals as all were frags when purchased.

Thinking I needed to be around .01-.02 and I am at .006.

.006 is on the lower end and I’m personally not comfortable with my level that low. I like mine at minimal 0.03 to 0.05 and perfer 0.05 to 0.1, but no more than about 0.15 (for SPS coloration). Wink Wink.

I think you are right by raising it a tiny bit. :)

The most common way to supplement phosphorus in your system is using rock phosphate. This is the natural form ,of phosphorus, and it is available at most gardening supply stores. There are other forms of supplemental phosphorus available that work just as well. You can basically use whichever phosphorus supplement is easiest for you to find.
Here. http://aquarium-fertilizer.com/phosphorus-p

I do not agree with most common as I’ve not ever seen anyone post that they used that product. Feeding more, using a commercial phosphate supplement, or best, dosing sodium phosphate are the most common ways reported on REEF2REEF.
