Whats going on in here..what am I dealing with??

This is my 250 display. 3 years old and just started to get a break out.

Main Parameters as of yesterday and pretty constant for the past month:
Phos= .04
Nit = 4
Alk = 9.5

any thoughts on

Plus I have many tangs in this tank and they are not eating the algae...why they always eat it

Looks like green hair algae in the first image and diatoms in the second image.

I did change to LRS reef food about 3 weeks ago, but I am not a heavy feeder.

Maybe the food in whatever amount you are feeding is of greater nutritional value than what you were feeding previously and that threw things off. But maybe not. There are a lot of things that could tip the scales in the algae’s favor. Anything that’s changed in the last few months could be relevant. Adding something that adds nutrients, removing something that removes nutrients. What kind of lights do you have? How old are they? Maybe a shift in spectrum could give algae the edge?

I think I’ve heard old tubes can cause issues but I’m not sure. If there haven’t been other changes, could look into that.

I am leaning towards the new food.....LRS. Thinking about riding it out for a bit with normal cleaning and maybe feeding every other day for a bit
