You know what I'm talking about. That one fish or coral that you've always wanted or is on your reefing wish list. I bet you're picturing it right now! Why have you not made the jump yet? Let's talk about your reasons...

The biggest problem is setting a pace for myself, I try to buy or replace() every few weeks. Or I would be pushing the system constantly. Let them adjust and then go for the new tank mates. Patience is hard.

I voted other. I'm afraid to disrupt the harmony of the tank. I currently have 4 yellow tangs, purple, naso, vlamingii, and convict tangs, 1 each yellow tail and yellow belly damsel, 3 talbot damsels, sixline, yellow stripe possum, and melanurus wrasses, yellow tail chromis, lawnmower blenny, flame angel and coral beauty, and a pair copperbands. I'd love to add a regal angel but other than a short chase or occasional tail swipe I have no aggresion so I'm not willing to risk adding anything else. Not that I really need to.

I am still in the process of building my first reef aquarium. Not quite ready to get it wet yet, but getting close. Really excited to finally get my first corals and some fish though now

The only thing holding me back right now is my live sand order to be delivered. Once it's in I can finish my aquascape and start adding fish. Right now the live rock is just haphazardly stacked in my tank. The good thing is the live rock is completely cured and my tank has already went through the ugly stage.

I chose.'Other'. What I really want is a Hawaiian Potters Angel. Now, I can afford it, but I just can not rationalize spending anything close to a grand on any singular fish or coral. My wife is the same way. I think it's because both of us grew up dirt poor.

honestly I love all the fish I have. I’d love a monster tank and more tangs but 5 in a 125 is enough with tons of movement by wrasse. I wouldn’t mind fowlr fish but one tank is all I’m allowed. Woe is me I’m fortunate to have a 6 footer

I would love an Achilles, powder blue and clown tang. My tank is 5x2x2 so Yellow tang and CBB will be staying the biggest fish in there. Might get my 8x3x2 one day if I win the lottery or Bitcoin goes stratospheric!

Where did you order the live sand from? I've been looking to order some sometime for the new tank I'm trying to get started up

Not having a big enough tank and it would be a species only tank… bamboo shark or a horn shark. Dont have a big enough system and couldnt put one in with my current fish, so that would mean a 300 gallon plus a minimum of 500 gallons for a shark? Yeah my BF would kick me out of the house!! He agreed to the 300. That was pushing it! Lol

Also lionfish, but Im not allowed to keep them anymore by my boyfriend! I mean he has a valid reason, be being deathly allergic to their venom! Me saying I just wont get stung was not good enough for him to let me have one LOL

Definitely tank size just because I want 5 tangs, largest at 25". Currently have a blue hippo. Want...naso unicornis, orange shoulder, lieutenant, and blue face zerasoma scopas. Hopefully can get a 1000 someday, or at least 300 min. Currently setting up a 150 trough indoors, curious to see how this turns out.
