Dr Tims is a nitrifying bacteria. Completely different species than you will find in one designed to lower nitrates or consume algae.Thanks just trying to figure it out.i guess no difference in adding a bottle of Dr Tim's

I'm not sure it works that way. If you feel your PO4 is high you might want to consider using GFOI guess I should add some kno3 to bring down po4?

Just be careful. Dropping your PO4 too fast can cause RTN on corals. I'd only do it if you really feel your PO4 is causing a problem. And then, add GFO slowly.Never tried it, but probably Worth a try
