So I got this turbo snail about a month ago and did notice this thing on it I did try to remove it but didn't come off so I left it alone then today I was looking at my snails and seen 2 little antennas and a black snout and was surprised so now I want to know what it is since it has been on this turbo this whole time...

Appears to be a limpet. if you place ice on it, it should release itself

Should I keep it if it comes off?
You can but do separate to confirm it is a limpet. You can also place it in the sump

Slipper limpet. Doesn't harm anything. I'd say leave it be.
Those are great photos. May I use one for my critter ID thread?
