Waiting on bladder cancer test results for my good boy today :crying-face:
Brought him to the vet yesterday when his urine became brown and then red. Ultrasound showed a huge blood clot in his bladder, which also muddied the image up so the vet couldn't see if there were tumors. Checking for cells today. Could also be an infection, which is best case scenario since he's now on antibiotics. This boy's gone with me from Barcelona to New York to Virginia and cross-country to California. Was in my wedding and there when both my kids were born. He's an old boy now. Never quite ready for this.

Probably do a water change on the nano.
My old guy is 15 now and its much the same. Hes tired, not doing much besides eating and sleeping. His liver is a mess but he holds on. The back hips are a mess. Were just waiting for the legs to finally get bad enough to make the decision. Hes been through an marriage, divorce, few multi state moves. Even gave up the reef hobby for a few years to keep him.

This is my little dog . Got her from a rescue centre about a year ago after my old dog died. No 2 dogs are the same this one is cheeky head strong and a ball of full on energy. Stick to me like glue every where I go . She has a better life now than before walking the streets

@OrchidMiss why so much water for water change on the 55g? I think I may change 20g a month on my 120g anymore and its stocked to the brim with zebrasoma tangs (4)?
Been a while since I've done one and need to rip out some stubborn hair algae.
next week I'm going away for 5 days and want to make it as foolproof as I can for the roomie.
