This monti started in late June from a coral swap as a single piece (first pic). It later broke into three pieces in an aquascape collapse (pics 2 through 4). Aside from the other two pieces, the frag plug shows it’s growth over three months.

Fastest overal: pulsing Xenia (which is a given and IMO doesn’t really count).
Other than that, here are the fastest growing in each category:

Softies: tie between Rhodactis indosinensis and Ricordea yuma, both are splitting/dropping babies at about the same rate. Also, zoanthids are growing pretty fast.

LPS: tie between several; Favia sp (Christmas/war coral), blastomussa wellsi, micromussa lordhowensis, Duncanopsammia axifuga, Turbinaria (I believe) peltata, and Caulastraea furcata.

SPS: hands down green birdsnest (Seriatopora sp)

Slowest grower, and this is kind of perplexing, is a Hollywood stunner chalice (Echinopora lamellosa).

@Marc2952 No I don't dose any aminos. I used to dose acropower but I have not used it for a couple of months now. I feed heavy and try to focus on stability. The crazy thing is I have some sps that are constantly struggling but most of mine are doing great. I have about 45 different sps and for some reason the Splice loves my tank and it has been getting better each and every month.

Finger leathers (devils hand) that I just can’t stop from calving constantly. If I did not clean up and remove them it would take over my whole tank.

Let's just say, I had a pulsing xenia problem.

If it’s still a problem, I saw a great video on managing them. A guy used a metal, re-usable drinking straw, a rubber band wrapped around it to function as a gasket, and stuck it into his water-change hose. He would scrape the rock with the metal straw in areas they were invading during his water change and suck them up! It was simple and brilliant.
