Mine is this Acropora. Completely encrusted in less than 2 months time. In a fluval evo 13.5 under an AI Prime 16HD. Also have an acan that's grown about 6 new baby polyps in 3 months, but hard to get a pic of it. And our candy cane has gone from 1 head to 5 in about 3 months.

Definitely posted the same coral as my wife did. At least we both agree on it :)

Fast growing: My trachy brain (huge!) That’s my burning banana frag, photo bombing! Lol ;p
I’ll post an old (about a month ago) pic.
I did a deep clean today. Everything is mad (currently.)

My GSP, zoas, and Kenya trees are all fast growers… but that’s nothing new. Those guys, plus xenia/cloves, are already proven winners (or weeds, depending on who you ask) when it comes to growth rate. I have to say that I’m most surprised by the growth of my torches. I purchased my first in a live sale here back in February. I got it as a tiny, single head that is now a huge, 4-headed monster. My second, purchased in April as a single, is now 3 w/ 1 splitting. My third and fourth are now doubles… just received this single from calikid corals yesterday, so I’ll try to keep tabs on how quickly it splits this time around lol

No Chalice grows quickly.....dang you, what's your secret
I have read to glue them to the side of your rock work. Well not so much the side but on a good 45 degree angle at-least. It changes how the light and flow hit them. I have two chalices that have exploded in growth since having them and this was what I learned best for them after a lot of reading.

I myself have had awesome growth out of my UC jamberry chalice and a Uc cosmo candy Goni. Both are my favorite pieces maybe because they have thrived so well.

Very nice. I love torches as well. you sir have a nice assortment of highly prized ones I see
I’ve got a few. Quickly becoming my favorite coral by far. IMO, no other coral can top the movement along with all the choices in color variations. Still need 3-4 more to complete my garden. Need a 24k, holy grail, dark torch (back w/ blue tips), and a joker… the first 2 will come last lol $$$

Seasons Greetings Monti. Worst decision yet, it covers everything. Having to frag sticks so they dont get consumed. Theres a few under that cap! Gonna just pull this whole rock once Im done saving what other coral i can

I have three torches I got all with one head on one stem and now there are two heads on each and there split but not grown apart yet. There my favorite but I’ve seen so many horror stories I’m afraid to purchase more

I hear you! I’ve actually lost a hellfire and a wolverine torch already… and both for unknown reasons. One day they were open and happy, the next they were closed and ticked. Got them days apart from the same lfs, and the same thing happened to each of them days apart from each other. All my others were perfectly fine. So, yeah, I get a little nervous anytime I purchase one now lol esp bc of the price point.

Different coral put on size in their own ways, but as far as what looks the largest and happened the fastest to my eyes, i have to say this random lfs rescue acro.
9 months from brown nub to colorful colony

Thats the first day and a month after

This is what it looks like after 8 more months and only minor pruning
