That's funny, I think the same about mine. As they grow I have had to frag some of mine or trade them in at the LFS, but I still probably have about the same number. I had a 1.5" toadstool that is about 6" across now. I think it will be sold or getting traded in for a smaller one soon. I wanted to keep the hood, so a Fluval brand light was the only one that would fit. I bought one of those and a blue strip from Amazon. The lighting is good now. You should start a build thread!
I'm not really familiar with build threads. I'm quite new to reef tanks so I feel like i'm just fumbling around looking for what works for me. I'm starting to see more people use the stock light and having success. I went with the kessil because what I had read at that point said the fluval wasn't strong enough to grow corals. It would of saved me a ton of headaches (evaporation/ salinity) had I stayed with it. My toadstool hasn't grown at all since I first got it, it came off it's frag plug and has refused to extend or do anything else besides pout.

Oh yeah my first corals were from a lfs and were assorted zoas and a meteor shower I bleached out by putting it too high on the rocks.

That's a shame. I imagine you can finds plenty of threads on here about the same thing. Mine seems to stay happy as long as pH, Nitrate, Alk and Phos are ok.

It's in the top center of this recent pic.
grew from a single finger to now having about 6 or so.
its been bulletproof for me, but slow grower. Not knowing anything, I put it right at the top of my rock work, so it gets blasted with light. Can't kill it if I tried.
