My apologies emperor, your new clothes look wonderful!
I don’t think it came off that way at all. “His forum” refers to this portion being his (reef chemistry by randy Holmes Farley) and I’m sure he gets hits on every single thing that pops through here (I’d hate to have that inbox.). I didn’t see anything condescending at all, just answers though this format of straight text can make the most benign of things seem snide.

I wouldn't worry too much about certain members and I wouldn't take any comments personally. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and assume they're just having a crummy day and needed to vent. I think we've all said snarky comments in the heat of the moment that we later regretted.

I guess I could have elaborated a bit more. Normal is 8.2-8.3 and my swings have been on the down side between 7.8-8.1 depending on the aforementioned environmental changes.

Ok, sounds good . :)

Just so folks know, Naked Reefer was Banned for posts unrelated to me or the Reef Chemistry forum that took place elsewhere at REEF2REEF.

Another thing you have to look at is pH probe calibrations. pH probes are very well known to drift off, in any setting, whether it's in a lab or in our reef tanks.
