I can't believe someone sold a shark on eBay, and it was legit, haha.

The Gem is about 5 or 6 inches and super healthy. By far my favorite fish. Plays well with others, even during the the scrimmage for nori. Tangs are also doing well still. So glad i got them when i did as I don't think the captive bred Biota's are nearly as nice
I agree completely! Biota are nice but aren't as yellow. Natural is Better.

Blue Spotted Jawfish 175.00. Also trying out for the Olympics. Never really laughed about it before, but that made me laugh and was nice to find humor while moving forward.

Fish I still have that cost a pretty penny:

Madagascar Flasher Wrasse
Gem Tang
Golden Hawkfish

Daredevil that jumped:
Oreni tilefish
Also had a supermale Lineatus wrasse that was killed by a rogue Melanurus wrasse.
I paid $250 for my Whitetail Bristletooth Tang 2 years ago. They are $350 now at the same LFS.
Just received one today from Harry’s Marine Life for 129.99 plus shipping.

While not my most expensive fish, I lost a $150 peppermint basslet today after it went through QT and conditioning and eating well and growing and beautiful and not hiding much anymore.

Lost it when it accidentally injured itself putting a gash across its face and into its gill. Such a stupid freak thing after working so hard to ensure it was healthy.

Most I have spent on fish is around $250ish

Hello! For me, it's the blue and orange toby puffer.
$99!
Biota Potter's Angel. Kept in a 55 gallon "baby Biota fish tank" (as anyone knows who has purchased Biota fish..they are very tiny when you get them) along with Biota Yellow Tang and two Biota Marine Bettas. All fat and healthy in a 180 gallon display now.

Well, my last tank was about 15 years back. If I remember correctly, my yellow tang was about $20 and so was my Maroon Clown. Those were my most expensive fish........
