I think he was being sarcastic. Seem like Red Sea has taken this approach on FB:So what they say is the holistic truth? Is it possible that they, or any other company, would not disclose full data for optics sake?

Lol... for sureOh, come on... corporations never lie about things like that, except maybe Enron or BP or Wells Fargo or Sears or GE or Deutsche bank or Amazon or Boeing or WorldCom or Uber or... You know what, never mind.
I always been wondering about all the over hang and gaps on all the redsea reefer tanks. I even asked in the RS facebook group and the response i get that the overhang and gaps between the tank and stand are normal. Im no physicist but a 1/2” glass pannel holding that much water with no support is not normal.
No, that mat is what it came in. The back is already fushed with the tank and that’s how much it overhang. If i close the cabinet door then it’s flushed. I did questioned about the mat before i filled the tank and RS facebook group said it will flatten once filled with water. Well, its filled about a year now and the mat still not covering any of the corners.@Bacon505 Yours is hanging over a lot more than mine, (and any other tank I've seen). Mine sits right on the seem and gives full support to the tank and my mat sits flush with the stand. Unless you cut your mat custom...it's not on right.
The fact that it does not go all the way to the edge of the stand on the side, but overhangs in the front makes my think that you have it on wrong. It should go all the way to the edge of the stand on all sides, but not overhang at all. At least that is the way mine is as well as every other RS tank I have seen. No, that mat is what it came in. +1 I tend to agree with @Marco S something doesnt look right with that overhang posted by @Bacon505The fact that it does not go all the way to the edge of the stand on the side, but overhangs in the front makes my think that you have it on wrong. Here is an example I found online...
Seems like they would have to answer. Sorry for that mess!!!!!!!!!!
That's the version # stand. My version 1 stand did not have the metal support lip and looked just like Bacon's in terms of overhang. In retrospect, it looks like it was a pretty big design flaw that was addressed in later version. For reference, I bought my 750 XXL in February, 2019. It was a version 1 tank and stand.
Too bad they do not do that with peninsula 650. I just had to get mine replaced. The 750 is not that much bigger that they should not do the same for the 650. At least red sea new 1000 monster tanks are Euro braced and stand is metal.
Sounds like Red Sea is honoring their product and making some positive upgrades ...

I looked at the replacement tank and it has those hard plastic guards on the seems on all sides but not on the short side with the overflow. Not sure why they would skip that panelSounds like Red Sea is honoring their product and making some positive upgrades ...
Do you know if they replaced any of the 625xxl or would still? This is an old issue, the tanks and stands were replaced if they had failures. The other 750XXL tanks received a free reinforcement to solve the issue.
Not to my knowledge. Those tanks are fine. The 750 fails are really old news by now. Unless you own an unregistered tank and therefor have not gotten the supports, you are okay.Do you know if they replaced any of the 625xxl or would still?
