Hey what is going on everyone! Happy Sunday!

Wanted to start a discussion here talking about favorite cameras/camera lens' that you enjoy using to shoot your tanks with! Currently I am using a Canon M50 with two lenses: A 15-45 mm lens and the newest addition a EFM f3.5 Maro IS STM lens! Both have served me well but I wanted to hear about any one else who may use the Canon M50 and what they use, or just whatever camera/lens they enjoy shooting with! (Canon M50 was chosen due to the need for a vlogging style camera)

Check out this weeks YouTube video to see some of my newest shots with my lens and chat a little about macro photography!

I have these Ray-Ban youth sunglasses, and they have orange/shaded lenses, so it makes it great for viewing the corals since it cancels out the blues, but it is also slightly darker, but im not complaining.

90mm f/2.8 Macro. Used a lot for both fish tank and portraits.

when I had an m50, I actually didn’t invest too much in glass; since I had a hunch I’d swap to FF. But I did like using a 50mm STM with a couple extension tubes.

When using an SLR, what do you all set for your white balance? I can't seem to ever get it right. For reference, I'm using Nikon D850 with Sigma 105mm macro.

Either use a brown filter, or get a gray card. Hold the card next to the tank with the blue lights hitting it, take a picture then use that picture as a custom white balance
