What's your favorite LED in the market in 2022?

I currently run two AI Hydra 32s and I like the app and it’s ease of use. I use the AB+ preset and felt like I needed more cover and more par but I must admit I did not test par or dig into the preset to see if there was anything I could bump up because I didn’t want to mess it up. I ended up adding the Reef Brite XHOs to supplement after watching the BRS review showing how they outperformed T5s. I very quickly saw improvement in coral growth. Honestly from the reviews I saw while researching I am surprised to not see more people talking about reef brite bars.

I would be interested in trying Reef Breeders, Radions, and Sky LEDs in the future as well.

For me, I appreciate LEDs which I can customize with the spectrum I want by choosing appropriate diodes. These are awesome supplements for mainstream DT lights.

While most mainstream DT lights are very competent, I do find that most of them does not provide a complete spectrum. Hence the customizable fill light to patch the gaps.

Oh. Also. Primary optic only setup provide very good coverage, as well as nice caustic lines. It also nicely address the UV transmission problem.

After 30 years of halides I am now 100% led. I started with 2 16hds on my 20g nano cube then 3 on my 45 frag system. These lights are the reason I am not running halides anymore.
I really like the color and growth I get from them.
On my 80g I run 2 16hds and 2 xr15 blues. I also run one 16hd on my 30g remote fuge.

Yep it was a review stating they they were nearly the same spectrum and intensity as the Radion G4 that sold me on them. I have six of the K7 V3 lights on my tank, and other than the crappy controller I like them.

I just set up my 3 ATI Stratons and I absolutely love these lights. Make the Kessil AP9X on my other tank look like a cute kids flashlight.

I found my gen 6 XR15's pretty easy to program. I never had an issue.
I do have to say it's not the easiest to navigate coming from ESL.
I'm still very happy with my CoralCare gen 2 fixtures. Still going strong after a couple years and still silent.

Hey Sam. I run the gen5 blues at ab+ and 50% schedule with good results but use 16hds to get the look I want.

I'm considering the Coral Cover Fixture... Are you happy with this? Does it give the "wrap around" type light of T5's and eliminate shadows?
