So I want to know how the community feeds nori to their tanks! How you do it, when you do it, etc.

Ill start, I have a couple tangs clownfish and melenarus wrasse who all eat nori. I feed in the morning and feed a full sheet everyday to keep the tangs from fighting. I put them on 2 clips on opposite sides of the tanks and the clips are hanging on fishing line so it sort of looks like they are floating in the current. I have to put nori in so my clown tang, yellow tang, and kole tang do not try and kill each other :)

I rubberband my to an old snail shell and drop it in the tank. I'll aslo hand feed them it then attach to shell and drop it in.

We use a seaweed clip that sticks to the tank glass and we read somewhere on here that someone would cut slits in the seaweed. That's what we have been doing and it works really well. No more mess and it's easier for the tangs to take pieces of it.

I soak my nori in saltwater till it becomes soft. Then I feed it into my powerhead to chop it up and distribute it through out my tank. My tangs love it.

I feed my grocery store variety nori every other day on a veggie clip. My yellow tang, leopard wrasse, and coral beauty do a good job sharing It too! :)

I feed Nori once per day using a veggie clip on a diy hanger made from acrylic. I got tired of the suction type that never stayed in place. I have a large male Naso tang that will eat only nori. I can hand feed him now. Wish he would eat other foods but I have had him for 5+ years and I guess he is not going to change now.

How do you get the fish to eat nori? I have some but the fish seem afraid of it. Leaving it overnight leaves a mess. I have two clowns and a tail spot blenny. The blenny you would think would be all over that.

I have to feed once a day in an algae grazer clip from IM. My convict tang, goldflake angel, quoyi parrotfish and black tang devor it in a few minutes. The algae really saved my convict. He was in QT for a few months and was paper thin. He finally started eating the nori and starts eating it as soon as I put my hand in the tank with it.

I noticed I may be feeding too much or I have more tangs in my tank after reading the comments.. I feed around 8 sheets a day on two clips .. so four per sheet .. doesn’t last 30 mins .. I hope I’m not feeding too much but my whole tank eats from them
