When in your opinion is a frag ready for sale?

Hi All,

Just started selling my frags to a local LFS and wanted to know the factors you take into consideration when shopping for a frag. What is too small? Does it have to show encrusting? For the record this is not about money or greed I would just like to supply my local shop with decent corals. He has been good to me in the past. Of course I will be asking his opinion today face to face as a lot of my frags (second batch) are smaller than the first batch. He has been asking for more quite quickly. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and input.

Good coloration and health. I try to look for the corals that shine out a bit more in a group.

I usually look for encrustation of some kind. Fresh cuts have to much stress IMO and moving it to another tank will only stress it more. I don't mind if it isn't colored up that well. I can always do that myself

I agree with encrusting as this shows a happy and established coral.

I know exactly what you mean and look at corals myself like this however I look for encrusting as a major part.
