What reef shows or swaps are you planning on attending or interested in attending in 2019 and why?
Planning to go to Tahiti for a snorkeling safari. Just to look around.
Like KrisReef, I plan on just looking around. Going to the Bahamas for 10 days or so of sailing and should get a few days of snorkeling in.
Trying to make the show in Dallas here in the next few months.
hoping to attend reef dreams in Charleston this year. only 2 hours away!
Probably RAP and MACNA here in Orlando. It'll be my 3rd RAP and my 1st MACNA.
I’ll be at RAP Orlando, RAP New York, RAP California, then RAP Chicago. Why? To visit with @revtree!
Probably nothing in Alabama since all of the swaps died here. We used to have 2-3 every year but I haven't seen anything mentioned here for almost a year.
I was planning on going to RAP Orlando but I think I'm going to skip that and just drive down for MACNA.
I’m glad you mentioned RAP Chicago because I heard of the new location and wanted to go, but I had not made a plan. Now because of this thread I just booked it. First time I will do reef travel. Good idea for a thread @revhtree
And who else would do the raffle!? You’re grandfathered in as all time raffle man Greg...
That’s really why you’re going. Lol
But of course. Best raffles Ease and West of the Mighty Mississippi!
For 2019 it will be the Florida Keys, the Dry Tortugas (I know, it's part of the Keys but it's special because you can't drive there!), RAP in Orlando and MACNA.
And in 2020 we are taking a Road Scholars trip to Fiji. you get 7 or 8 snorkels at 7 different sites over 5 days. It's an 'all inclusive trip' once you get to Los Angeles. And anybody can join us.
We'd do it this year but we're already booked to go to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada to see the Aurora Borealis and to Moab, Utah to photograph canyons and natural arches with a professional photographer (these are both Road Scholar trips as well). Last fall we went to Albuquerque, NM for the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta with them and they did a terrific job!
