Really? I didn't think Facebook allowed the sale of animals. I posted a picture of a tank for sale, clearly stated that livestock was not included and Facebook still took it down because the fish were in the pic.
I dont know if this is marketplace or not cause I don't have a face book. Maybe they are just groups? All I know is there are 3 or 4 of these pages id consider like aquarium classifieds

Go watch the documentary on Netflix "Chasing Coral" this will explain why SPS are so expensive. They aren't gonna get any cheaper any time soon, if ever. We will likely be the existence of Coral on the planet before too long

That's a little over dramatic. There are several studies and recent results showing heat resistant corals and successful restoration of reefs from successful propagation strategies. Further, most coral traded now aren't directly from the ocean. The community is being taken advantage of because many are willing to pay for higher prices. Vendors have no reason not to charge what they charge if people are paying. I can't fault them or the people who have expendable income; they've earned that right. Sucks for those of us not in a position to spend that money.

I think the best deals are from other reefers. For example when I have stuff available, I usually just check what The cheapest price is on a known Coral online and discount from there. I think many reefers do the same. I’ve seen a ton of stuff sold by major vendors for twice the price that most reefers will sell for. Even the live sales seem to overprice IMO. However you can find deals from most vendors at Some shows and live sales and there are still some quality vendors that you can get good deals from such as, battlecorals, fraghouse, garrets acropolis and many more etc....

please give a bump for your favorite online vendor that is NOT OverPriced.. thanks ,D.
Not cheap but I buy mine in colonies from livestockusa.org. Large colonies I can frag a bit, sell and then keep the large pieces in my reef. I buy both Australian and Indo Acros from them. Freight for 2 boxes is just about $50 higher than just ordering one box.

I get mine from local swaps or reef network. Pandemic has shut both down right now, but they will be back.

Uncommon acros command high prices and right now online sellers can set the prices given person to person transactions are limited. Blue stag and green slimer owners often have more than they can sell.

Online sellers often charge $40 for GSP and Xenia. Their prices reflect overhead. Not rarity.

Or, just take a miami orchid, photograph it under actinic blue, call it a Walt Disney acro, and charge a fortune for it.

+1 for www.harrysfrags.com all the stuff I have gotten from him is thriving.
This. I got an order from him about a month ago for tester SPS. 2 of them didn’t make it, but they were testers and I’m sure it was user error. The remaining 7 are still doing great.

Where else are you going to find a place with SPS for $10-20 for most everything? AND he doesn’t charge shipping if you get 5+ frags! I was debating on driving the 100 miles each way to see him but decided to get it shipped once I saw the free shipping.

Hit me up in a month or so. Im going to drop some frag packs in average of $30-40 A frag. Dont ask me for name because i can dig up my purchased list from known seller and charge you their price. My goal is to share the corals i’ve grown if people like the corals and colors. I hate the name game so i’m trying to avoid that. Just to share a few pix. You can find more of my collection in my build thread.
