1) Where on your rock work do you place your acans?
2) Anybody got an acan garden going incorporated into their aquascape?

I would love to see some pics if you guys have them!

In my midnight dwarf angelfish’s stomach. I had a nice $250 acan garden happening - but ‘someone’ decided to dine-in. I could show you pictures of what’s left but it’s honestly just depressing...
Man, that sucks. Sorry that happened!

Sorry to hear that. I had a flame angel go rogue on my acans. I was able to pull the fish quickly. It's been a few weeks and they are starting to come back.

I put my acan frag on a DIY portland cement rock I made 15 years ago, and its slowly been covering the rock, I think it will be completely covered by Christmas time. It makes me so happy that something I made myself will be covered with coral life - I wish I could put it back in the ocean so that my rock could be part of the reef forever......

I have them in the middle of my tank, in various locations. I think there are 12 or so spread about... I have several together, but not a garden per se. I have one place on the top of the rock work, but in shaded light under the crossbar.
A pic of a 1/2 the bunch...

Before mine got wiped out, I always had them in the sand attached to small rock, slightly shaded. I had great success until a long spine urchin decided he wanted to snack on them. Took me some time figure out it was him until I caught him in the act. In my experience, they benefit greatly from being fed mysis on the regular.
