Time for me to get serious about building the stand for my SCA 150 the tank is 60x24x24"
The stand will be on tile flooring

Although I am just an amateur welder, I do have a miller 210 mig and I built the roll cage for my jeep that survived a 2.5 rollover well enough to drive home on the highway.

I'm not sure yet, but thinking about 1/8 wall 2" square with corner gussets and I want to include some adjustable feet.

Questions are how many? and which ones? a quick search turns up these SS ones on Amazon: FEET

would 8 of those work? Still trying to imagine how to install them. any steel stand building advice appreciated !

I would do 10
3 on each end (corner middle corner) and long ways at 20" and 40".
Floor might be level and not even need them but...........

So I decided on the ones I pictured and linked to on Amazon. 1/2" Stainless steel, 3" base with 1/8" rubber bottom. $20 each rated for 2200 lbs. As much as I wanted an open front 60" span, I am deciding to play it safe with a center post in the middle as long as I can slide in a 40 breeder for the sump. There will be 6 leveling feet threaded into the bung, the bung will be welded into the 1" round tube. Not sure if I want to double up the tube and weld it inside the 2" square posts or just weld the tube to the outside of the posts. I think probably outside since I'm going to have panel coverings anyhow

That’s the exact same tank I’ll be having a steel stand built for!

I may end up getting the same leveling legs too. My past steel stands simply had an inverted hex bolt as legs, and those worked fine on carpet and squashed less of it.
