Which of your zoas grow fast?

Xenia never grew for me that well either. Make sure they are on an island if you do it.

I've tried 7 different Xenia frags and they all melted within 2 months. We finally found a Cespitularia that is willing to grow in our tank. It has new little arms - the base hasn't spread but it's got new arms at least. This is number 5 for those.

Mohawks are also for me the fastest growing ones so far.

Fast growers for me:
Utter chaos(insane like a new head every week)-scrambled eggs-orange bam bam-rainbow hornets- fire and ice-dragon eyes

Slow growers for me:
Anything pink lol- cookie monster-la lakers(no new heads in 4mos!)- rastas-LSOH

20gallon long tank no filter or dosing. 1 AI prime 16hd feed Reef roid and fuel 2 times a week in my mysis and brine mixture.

How do you manage without a filter?

Utter Chaos, Pandora's, mohawks and especially armour of gods... And the classics like the dreadful neon green Paly...ugh

Watermelons, radioactive dragon eyes, fire and ice, and some no name bright orange ones are going crazy in my tank. My favorite pink diamonds are growing painfully slow. I have a bunch of similar no-names that I love growing really slowly. Seems the more I like them, the slower they grow...

Pandora’s are my bane!

Worst than gsp and Xenia put together for me.

My claim to fame - the only person in the world that can't seem to get Toxic GSP to grow...

Tank's been up and running for about 9 months - Toxic GSP was the first entrant and its grown about 20% in that time. Looks super healthy - its just happy being the size it is...

Everyone else seems to complain that it grows like a noxious weed... Not I !

If I feed my gobstoppers brine shrimp they will take over the tank.

For me it is Utter Chaos, Pandora’s and just about any Zoa that doesn’t cost a lot. All of my expensive ones tend to grow slow and I guess that’s why they carry a premium. I throw them in my sump I have so many

For me it WAS my hysteria's and mom's eyes until my Moorish Idol I've had for 6 months decided he wanted to start eating my coral. Never touched them at all. Is overfed if you ask me, very fat and has tripled in size. HUGE eater apparently. I love the fish, but never would've gotten one...he was shipped to me by mistake so I had to keep him.

Fast: scrambled eggs, rastas, rainbow infusion, gobstoppers, Victoria secret, and of course no name purple paly I got as a freebie.
Slow: buttmuncher(fast if you feed them), utter chaos ( can’t compete with Victoria secrets and over run), hornets, bam bams (explosive growth then melt then explosive growth)

I think Pandora, Mohawk and Nirvana are pretty universally fast growers in ANY tank. Like plague level fast.
