Bad welk I would guess. He will be a pest at some point. Tank looks rather new, but I would get him out before more livestock goes in.

Its not a welk but a Whelk. . . . . . LOL- I had too. DeniseAndy is correct and not a friendly/desired as the similar nassarius.
Whelks will eat coral and other inverts
