I had this abro for the longest time and originally brown. It slowly coloring up over time to white with slight purple on the corallite tip with green polyps. I thought it was just the normal new growth being white. But as it gotten bigger, is stay white. Its white from top to bottom all the way to the base. Anyone seen this before? I wonder if it’s temporary, would be cool if permanent. IT’s not bleaching to clear out some speculation.

Oh man get me a frag of that! That’s something new as far as I have seen. It isn’t really white but certainly spectacular. Kinda like a sea foam color.

Please do! I would have high hopes for it considering the abundance of the light color. Normally new growth won’t cover the whole coral with a certain color but I have seen it make a coral look different like this and then goes away when it gets bigger. Either way if just the tips are that color I would kill to get a piece of that.

low nutrients make the colors more pastel . That’s fine so long as the base isn’t recieding. Are you Carbon doseing ?

Yeah it's pretty... Let me know when you go to frag your acros... I want some...
The branch is over 1” Plus across. Really thick branch. I’ll see one baby branch pop up and i’ll cut from there

Yeah, aussie wild that i got about a year ago
Well that was quite the score!
I have a few that are growing well and just starting to show some coloring after 6 months.
Takes awhile when the frags are so small, but inexspensive, lol.
