White film

I just started my saltwater tank about a week ago and noticed a white film all over the inside glass and wasn’t sure if it was a salt build up, part of the cycle process or something else?

Would it be all over the inside...in the picture actually wiped some of it off it was from top to bottom of the glass and also on the heater

You may want to give it a stir a few time before the fish are added to try to get as much out as possible. Will be much easier before livestock than once fish and corals are in

How fine is the mechanical? If it's only foam for example I don't know if it will take the finer particles out effectively

It has quick clear foam...supposed to trap micro particles and biomax foam as well
