White fuzzy tube in mushroom

Any idea what this tube is growing out the bottom of my Rhodactis? It is kinda fuzzy and has a hole in the center. The purple part above it is just epoxy.

IC glue maybe? did it come unglued?

hard to tell with the resolution of that picture.

Very hard to get a close up picture without zooming in and losing resolution. I am pretty sure it is not IC glue. It looks as if something lives in the middle of the tube.

After looking at some other picture, I am thinking it is a pineapple sponge. I am butt this is a good thing
