I have two frags that came from one supplier, one is acan the other not sure :)
Both are getting white hair coming out of stony part of coral.
They're getting longer, and not sure what this is.

Are they soft or hard? My first though it sponge of some sort, or tube worms.

Sponges are generally a sign that your tank is doing well or starting to mature. I would leave them be I've got these as well

If those were sponge, they were unlike any sponge I've ever seen. Since the wrasse went after them, I'm going with something meaty but my first inclination was some time of macro algae.
