White protrusions ("worm-looking thingies") on Sinularia

Today I discovered white thin protrusions on the back of my sinularia. It had reopened after shedding a couple of days ago, but for two days it has been closed. They look as if they come directly out of the coral, not as if they were attached to it. Any idea what that is? Thanks!
