Moved the flame into a 20 with some rocks. He was so excited, checking out all the rocks and passages. I could almost hear him saying "Now this is what I'm talking about."

Everybody looks good. I've got two quick questions.

1. Is it okay when dosing Prazi during TTM to do it during sequential tank changes? I did this with the CB and didn't think it mattered, but then I saw a comment about someone dosing Prazi twice five days apart to take care of new flukes or something. Should I send her through again?

2. I lost a clown out of my DT a week ago (separate thread). Will it be okay if I add another clown after the angels or should I keep the angels circling the airport while I put a clown through QT and get him in the tank.

You always want to do a second round of Prazipro, 5-7 days after the first, to get any hatchlings. I usually do it on transfers 2 & 4 so the timing works out right.

You can add the clown after the angels.

Crud, that's what I was afraid of. Better to know than not to know.:)

Okay, dosed the Coral Beauty with Prazi. Did a road trip with the DH and the grandson (3) to pick up a replacement clown. Homegrown Mocha Maine in a separate tank full of siblings. 10 months old, so I am hoping healthy. The parents were in the adjacent tank and looked great. She will be ready for second tank and Prazi tomorrow night.

What crazy person QTs three fish at the same time?

P.S. That's just the flash reflection in her eye.:)

Sigh. The Coral Beauty has been in the Grow Out tank since 2/13. Her previous white spot is all healed up, but she has a new one on the other side. Smaller. Tough to see under white lights (didn't show up on most of my photos, but is more obvious under just blue lights, where it looks white, or maybe just reflective.

So, I'm thinking this is another abrasion. Any other thoughts? I was planning on moving her to the DT on Friday night or Saturday morning. I will wait if she is still showing a spot.

Here is her left side, now healed:

Here is the best I could do of the right side and what I think is the spot:

Thoughts?

I will try again tonight. Most of the photos I took don't show anything. I could try under the blue lights, but not sure that will help except to reassure me that I'm not crazy.:)

White light tends to show dots/marks on fish better than blue light.

Well, I've spent a ridiculous amount of time as fish paparazzi.:)

The "whatever it is" seems to only be visible from certain angles. These don't show it.

This one shows the spot, but still not very useful.

Interestingly, I found a couple of shots that seem to show a similar spot still visible at the original spot on the other side that I thought was completely healed (see photo above).

Now you see it, now you don't.

Thoughts?

One thought I had was both of these showed up after a week of Prazipro treatment. I did a second dose Saturday night. I also had done Prazi the last two tanks of TTM, but because I didn't do those doses 6 days apart, I did it again. Could this be a wound from a parasite that died? (My wishful thinking again.)

It looks like one of two things though I'm not sure what it would mean.
1. A scale is slightly messed up and sticking out a bit ( possibly caused by bumping into a rock or fighting or anything), which is why you can only see it when he's facing away from you.
2. Something is growing underneath the scale pushing it out slightly (maybe lympho?). Again, this explains why you can only see it when he's facing away from you a bit.

She eats well and is constantly picking at the rocks. She is constantly in and out of the rocks, so still seems to be skittish, but has been that way from the beginning. She does come looking for food when she sees me.:)

Then, if @Humblefish agrees, I'd say wait and see. For now
