All the same coral at different times.
I noticed after I brought it home that these white spots developed and some of them opened clean through to the other side. I had been watching it for about a week in the store before I bought it and didn’t see anything wrong with it there.
Water parameters I’ve tested for are: nitrates 0 nitrites 0 ph 8.2 ammonia 0.

Other corals seem to be fine. Sunset Monti, GSP, ricordia, assorted mushrooms. I have no fish in the tank. The coral has been in there about 2 weeks now

Update: this morning before work I shined a flashlight in the tank while the lights were still out. I saw about 5-10 amphipods crawling all over my leather and it was all closed up! Now this could just be because I have no fish and there are just a ton of them in there but I thought it was worth mentioning. Does anyone have experience with this?

My experience with leathers of most kind is that they are weird. Helpful right? As long as you do not see black tissue (which is dead tissue) you are usually fine. Mine have gone through periods of no polyp extention for months, white spots, slices down the sides, and other crazy things and all lived through and recovered fine. That finger leather looks great! I would not worry about it.

Mine used to do this when they were about to drop a frag. One side looks like it has recently dropped one or maybe a few. Mine used to drop babies every few months.
