I’ve got my pink tail trigger in my QT. When I first put her in a couple weeks ago she looked fine, but now these are what looks like bigger spots than ich or velvet. Are they flukes? Fresh water dip?

Are you seeing the fish scratch on surfaces?
The spots I can see are too large to be ich.
Have you treated with anything yet?
A FW dip may help, but it won’t cure if it is flukes. For that you’ll need to dose 2x with prazipro or general cure.
The fish is pretty thin, especially in its back muscles. Is it eating well? Are you feeding it enough? Has it been this thin since you got it?
Google this species to see how thick it should look.

Yea, I’ve done my Prazipro treatment of 7 days. I just started copper power Friday. She’s definitely not scratching/flashing at all. This fish eats like there’s no tomorrow.

Well, you should be at full copper level, but there is some debate as to what that is with copper power - the label instructions results in a dose of 2.1 mg/l, but some people have been going to 2.5 in order to see good results.

If the fish is this thin, but eating well, it either has internal parasites, or isn't getting enough food, or both. I would increase tthe food amount and/or feeding frequency, just watch for ammonia problems in the QT.

Let me get another angle, it’s not thin. Also I was going off the test that humblefish conducted.

In the first image, the trigger looks really pinched behind the eye and onto the back. That’s where fish show emaciation. Maybe it’s just a shadow?
