Found these white dots in my culture. What are they? Should I toss the culture?

They are not bad and are eating most of the food you are feeding the worms.
Depending on what kind they are, most of them float.

I flood my entire worm culture occasionally and keep pouring off the surface water or just let a small trickle run on it for a while.
The worms can live underwater for 5 days so they won't mind and may even enjoy the Jacuzzi.

When you are done, pour the entire mess into a large net and let it drip.
"Lightly" squeeze the net to remove most of the water and put it all back into the container "after you cleaned it".

That will eliminate all the "bugs" if they are the floating type as most, but not all of them are.
I have done that dozens of times.
You will need to add more dirt when this is done.

Now I have a bunch of non floating bugs which are impossible to eliminate so I started a new culture with clean worms.
