White worm thing ?

What is this. It’s like white with spots, looks gooey and there’s a few in the bottom of my filter

Yuck. I got no clue but I’d get rid of it. It looks kind of like either a worm ish thing or somethings egg.

Can you get a white light pic in the water? I’m pretty sure it’s a pineapple sponge, which is harmless.

Yup, pineapple sponge. Exposing them to air kills them. They’re good filter feeders.

Yea, eventually as tank matures they go away or go down in numbers.
