Looking for someone to build a custom stand that’s not going to be a standard box with holes in it. It would be cool to see some different finishes, layouts with sumps, and materials. Please post some pics of your setups!
Very nice I just finished mine been working on it for the last 2 daysBuilt my own for a 450 gallon.
Very niceThe stand for my 135 build was built by a local cabinet shop that supplies my LFS...
Came unfinished, so I had to do all of the finish myself.
Seems daunting until you see the extremely over priced stands available on the market.. then building your own doesn’t seem so badVery nice I just finished mine been working on it for the last 2 days
Lol very true my tank stand cost me less than $150 for all materials.Seems daunting until you see the extremely over priced stands available on the market.. then building your own doesn’t seem so bad
Thank you. Was a few weekends of work, but I am happy with the finial product.Very nice
Holy what size tank do you have?I built my own see build thread
Its 1100 Gallons I also built the tank.Holy what size tank do you have?
This is beautifulI built mine with 2x4s and 2x6s. Trim is just for show. With 2x4s racking really isn't an issue. Time consuming, but worth it.
Everytime I see this, I froth at the mouth at the thought of getting back into welding and making my own. Did you use mig or flux core? It came out great.Steel welded stand with automotive top coat.
2x3 top and the rest is 2x2.
All 1/4".
Mine is an open design with no doors.
DayyyyyngI built mine, the aquarium and the cabinet
