You 2 better get some patience!
You all going to have a harder time with the cycle time than me! I plan to do all natural cycle no chemicals!:p
No chemicals? That will be interesting.

I'm very interested to see how you will cycle your tank without adding Dihydrogen monoxide.

I have had biospheres sitting in Eric's tank so once tank clears and all equipment dialed in we will toss those into sump and shrimp in display. Just no plan to add anything chemical to jump start or hurry up cycle.

Shhhhhh!
I meant that I would not be adding any bottled chemicals to jump start or rush cycle!!!

Sorry didn't use all fancy technical terminology!!:p
Ok... so no bottled chemicals. You are using bottled bacteria though, right? :p

Nope!!!
Only using biospheres from Eric's tank, piece of filter floss that has been sitting in the BC29 and a piece of shrimp! No bottles!!!:p
You don't add the bottle you silly woman, you just add the contents!

I think you are a bacteria snob... the bacteria in the bottle aren't good enough but the bacteria from Eric are "special"! :p

Courious why no chemicals/bottles? Also your build is coming along nicely can't wait to see some life in it and the rock work
Just preference not to use since I don't really have too, no rush to cycle since Holidays are here!;)
Thanks! On my last bucket of water so ... I am hoping that I can see rock work in the morning. :)

You have great patience, which is the best thing to have in this hobby, aside from a lot of money. ;)

You can always drain your tank if you need to see the rock work more clearly.

12/4/2016 Update ...
Whew! Finally completed making all the salt water last night.
Now making RO/DI for the ATOs for the 56g and the BC29.
This is what my life has turned into ... staying home on a Saturday night making water!!! Well, isn't that special!
The return pump has been turned on and tank clearing up nicely.

Observations ...
To much sand!
Rock Structure off center!!!:eek::mad:
