I've had a Zebra Bared Dartfish since April 2015. I've gone through a few purple Firefish during the Zebra Dartfish lifetime.

What happened to the Firefish? Did they die from jumping and being harassed?

It seems like the other Dartfish (Scissortail, Blue Gudgeon, Zebra etc) live longer than the Firefish. I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone keeping a Firefish past the 5-year mark.

OTOH I’ve seen a number of people keep gobies for 7-8 years or over 10 in the case of the Watchmen, Clowns and Damsels can easily do 10+. Wonder if any Firefish have made it close to or surpassed the 10-year mark assuming they didn’t jump or get bullied to death.
