Well as of now I have an old oceanic tech 120g. If I had to buy a similar sized tank brand new I’d go with the mode infinity 135g.

however, in the future I want a tank that is at least 220g. Possibly more. And when that time comes I’ll be going with Glass cages. I think I’ll probably end up with a 7ftx30 or 36x 20

We've discussed going to a 200 gallon after we retire and have time for such things. At that size there wouldn't be the same restrictions on possible inhabitants that we have now, but knowing how much work the 50g and 10g are, we just don't have the energy for a tank like that right now.

In the more immediate future I'd like to have a proper coral quarantine/grow out tank. I've run into several pests lately that are either resistant to dipping or only show their ugly faces weeks after getting the coral. I hate pests!

I voted yes as an upgrade. I like my current tank, it's a Solana 34gallon with the filtration system in the back chamber Love that. it makes maintenance easy. I only wish I would have did a better job with my aquascape.
That being said I am currently working on a Red Sea Max S400 that I bought used with a sump, hopefully maintenance won't be that much harder. I have filled the tank and leak tested it. I haven't started it yet because I had to change the side panels on it and I am buying all new pumps to avoid any breakdown issues, I'm still waiting on the pumps to arrive. This time around I'm going to take my time with the aquascape, not that I rush it before just didn't think everything through.

I recently ordered my dream tank from @Joe Glass Cages and I'm extremely happy with the process. Joe walked me through the build and probably took more time than he should have to make sure every T was crossed and I dotted. He made this purchase "happen" for me when I thought it wasn't going to.

No, I'm content.

After tearing down my old 4ft - 120g about 7ish years ago, I got the itch and I ordered a IM INT 75 with the White APS stand around July 2020. Delivered late September and Wet Oct 1, 2021.

What happened was I talked my buddy Kenny into getting back in because his 3yr old daughter showed interest at the pet store and he told me. Figured this could be that moment where I get back in because well.....its always better to have a friend in the hobby haha. I was relentless and he up and drove to a LFS in Lansing, Mi and bought a 40g Cube that weekend. We set his tank up and fast forward 3 weeks I ordered the IM 75g. It's been fun

The Innovative Marine is hands down the best quality tank I've ever had the pleasure of running. No regrets

Planning to upgrade my IM Nuvo 10 to IM Panorama 20g Drop Off (when I can find one). Looking to put my Yasha & pistol on the lower level hopefully for more viewing access. And grow out room for my (captive bred) mandarin until I can move him to the bigger DT. Love my IM tanks.

I like our local guys at Reynolds Polymer because not only do they build projects for Sea World and monster tanks around the world, they also build tanks for guys like me. I’m afraid to ask, isn’t it racist to say a tank must be a box or rectangle. After all if climate change is racist then we must not discriminate against cylinder tanks.

I started out with FW planted tanks, and ADA is without a doubt the best tank you can buy even considering the high price, the seal quality and glass clarity is out of this world on those. I have seen a few saltwater setups with the ADA tanks but they specifically cater to FW so its pretty uncommon. For SW my dream tank is probably a Red sea complete setup - one of the big ones lol

I just did a upgrade from a 150 t0 a 260. my tank was make by Coast to coast aquarium. And I must say Patrick from Coast to Coast Aquarium is on top of is game in the aquarium manufacturing business. and attention to details are off the chart. Everyone need to go look at is work and see for yourself what I am talking about. Bad pictures. but tank look amazing.

If timing and funds allow I would love to upgrade my Elos 120 to an Elos 160xl with matching cabinet
I have also spoken with a tank maker who is currently building a sump for my tank which will migrate to the new tank if i am able to get it [in the next few years]. He is also able to build a tank for me so i have the option of him building a custom tank/cabinet for me.
