Satisfied with our 180g Aqueon that I drilled. It was a LOT of work setting it up with the DIY basement 90g sump and at my age, I don't see anything else in the future.

Reynolds Polymer is local and they get my vote because not only do they build monster tanks around the world, they also helped me build my cylinder tanks. I must argue that it’s racist to say a tank must be a box or rectangle. If climate change is now racist then we must not discriminate against cylinder tanks lest they become offended.

I've been pretty brand agnostic until this year. I'm a CADE fan for life at this point; the design, ATO situation, production quality, etc., have all been so phenom that I can't imagine choosing a different supplier at this point.

1. For your next "aqua project" what aquarium will you go with and why?
I'm planning a clown and anemone tank for the dining room in an aqeuon 46 gallon bowfront I got for free after helping my sister move. I might also set up a small frag system in a 20 long I got for 10 bucks and used as a hospital when I had a velvet outbreak.
2. Share a brief summary about what you're dreaming up for your next tank project?
If money was no worry then I would go with a reef savvy. A big 12'x36'x36' peninsula mixed reef with a whole bunch of tangs and my majestic angel to benevolently rule over them.

I have an acrylic 270 gallon tank, and it is 10x as much work to scrape as glass. I'd also prefer something built into a wall that I could see though from both sides as a room divider. But this house isn't really built for it, and I don't see myself living here in 10 years, so I am sticking with the acrylic 270 until I move.

As far as manufacturers of glass tanks, all I care about is whether or not it leaks. I don't see going overboard for perfect build quality or special bracing or rims, which I prefer to be hidden from sight anyway.

I’m starting a new tank as we speak. Already have the Waterbox 70 so I went with the same company this time around only a bit smaller (35 gal AIO).

My very first tank I plumbed my self and it worked out great, no issues, but aesthetically I just didn’t like the look of it. Acrylic tank, stand was longer than the tank itself it just didn’t look pleasing to my eye. I found out about Waterbox and didn’t look back, no plumbing!

However I didn’t like the glass sump it comes with so I swapped it out with a Fiji cube 24. I just got my first delivery of some stuff for the new tank, a Coralvue Hydros 2, coralvue ato and a Sicce Syncra pump. Still looking for a good nano skimmer *hint*.

Just put in an order with Glasscages for my new tank. The communication and design process was quick and easy. Joe made sure he had every detail needed to build the tank I wanted. Can't wait to get it and then build thread to follow...

I love the Pro-Clear line.
The glass is 3/4” on the 230 and comes which aluminum frame stand already built.
Was half the cost of some others.

I currently only have frag tanks, had to take my display down due to flooring issues. We are building a home in January and I plan to buy a 7 foot planet aquarium. I like they are built in Texas, have a great reputation and are reasonably priced. I love my frag tanks but definitely miss a display!

I’ve had the mass produced stuff like juwel, Red Sea etc in the past but I would definitely go with another custom tank for my next build, most likely from the same manufacturer, akwarium szczecin out of Poland.
The cost isn’t crazy higher than the premium manufacturers like water in or Red Sea but gives you so many more options.

My wife actually brought up the idea that for our next house it has to have a spot for a peninsula I have been talking about but have no decent place to put it in our current house...oh yeah and a fish room directly below it haha.
