I know Sauce would be here if he could. His plans fell through before I pulled trigger on the tanks lol.
Should be pretty smooth honestly.
If I get one side torn down. Other side should come down pretty quick. Ive done it before when I had to change out lids to current stands not to long ago.
Just need a cpl more brute cans to put livestock, rock and water back in system when I get stand and tank against wall.

Only doing one tank on initial swap.

Believe me, I would Soooo much rather be in AZ playing with tanks, than house-sitting for my parents who are traveling to see my nephew graduate HS. I've got a few things need dropped off at hotel-LRT that he doesn't even know about yet.

Doing work getting ready for this swap!
Just realized I haven't thrown down any shrooms in a minute haha Man its a mad house around here for real.
This Godzilla has nearly trippled in size since I got it. Highly impressed with this shroom.
Babies looking good.
Lil minecraft is starting to reach for the lamp and get some good bubbles since I put her in MOAR lamp.
Ordered T5 kit and bulbs should be ready to roll when tank lands

I do too man. Its a baby of the red ricordia with green mouth im always posting. I seen a little spec on plug after I removed mom and its probably one of best boogers I have going atm.
Can you see the little hints of green in minecraft baby right above it?

Talk to me about T5 lighting
I ordered Hybrid kit.
I went with Actinic and Purple plus for bulbs.
I maybe should have asked this question before I ordered the bulbs but what are you guys finding your soft corals like the most?
Especially your shrooms?
Depending on how this works out I may just go with Dimmable T5 on second tank.

I run 4 54w T5 and 3 kessil A360WE hybrid on my lagoon mixed reef. I have 3 blue plus and 1 actinic t5 in my fixture. Really evens out the white of the kessil to a normal daylight look while still having some color pop. I def don't have the pop of a heavy blue tank though.

Right on I had no idea what I was doing ordering the bulbs. I do love the actinic spectrum I remember from old days running the MH Ushio bulbs.
I feel actinic really makes bounces pop from what I'm seeing at a cpl lfs I frequent.
I went with purple plus as they where out of coral plus but figured the purple plus would give me closer to full spectrum. And was going to use white to balance it all out.
I'm not too into the blue look of my led tbh. I run mine alot more white than the auto color correct tab shows on my phone lately. Just been to lazy to correct myself.
That being said regardless of what I like.
I'm trying to stick to what my shrooms are telling me they love.
Most definitely violet.
I feel my lamp is strongly missing the actinic spectrum though at least thats what my seneye is telling me so im hoping the T5 provides that.
And way better coverage on edges.

Going to call and see if Its not too late to swap bulbs. Nothing has been shipped yet that im aware of.
