Who's got favias in their tank? I used to have a collection going, but after I moved to Cali, I've never rebuilt it. I used to have some like raptors peace, angels breath, burning gem... Really enjoyed those. Sounds like it might be time to restart my collection. Let me see the ones you have! What are your favorites?

Only have 3 in the tank. These were pics of them when they were first purchased. Green Goblin and Wild cherry favia. And of course the dragon soul. When these move to the new tank after it’s matured a bit, I’ll definitely be purchasing some more. Currently out room. The wild cherry is a good grower. Both came from cherry corals. Hence the name I’m assuming. Lol. I like the hallucination Favia Unique Corals. I’ll have to snag one of those in the future.

These are all my brain corals. Favia, Faviets and others like welsiphylia and trackey and so forth. Theyre all considered brain corals. To answer the above question. For me i keep them all on the sand bed. But they are all glued to rock about palm sized or bigger so they have something to grow on

the encrusting types i have 7 types.

I’ve never had a favia, but I really like the encrusting look. I have a branch rock that could look great covered in one of these. Anyone have pics of one covering a branch or unique shaped rock?

Can someone help me ID this favia? It's available at my lfs. Will the texture stay like this or is it some camera trick.

I don't see too much over saturation. The texture will change depending on time of day as it inflates and deflates. The flow and also when it feeds. Depending on price, looks like a nice favia.
