Curious to see what has been working for the Reef2Reef Community. Share your pic and parameters! Feel free to share any other tips on water parameters as well.

Nitrate 15-20, phos 0.07-0.10
Pretty consistent, I have to dose nitrate and phosphate.
my zoas do well! But my gmks are melting…my nitrate has been dropping in one tank over 4 weeks and I think this is why they have been melting. Phosphate creeped up a little bit too. Most other zoas didn’t seem to care (yet).

Here's a couple crappy pics off my phone when only the ATI Coral Blue bulbs were on. I try to keep nitrates above 0 to less than 5 ppm. Phosphates stay around .06 to .08 ppm. The tank is heavily stocked with fish and fed a lot. It has a pretty high dissolved organic level. I also add Red Sea Reef Energy AB+.

Yea i have some palys that dont look too happy and my water tested read Nitrate 27 Phos 0.3
Did a Flush and used some Brightwell Phosphate E. Dropped phos to 0.1. Lets see how they look after a few days.

Very Nice!!! Sunny D's and Seductions? Im trying to find that sweet spot. I noticed another zoa that was closed and seemed to be browning. Hope its not something bacterial and just a cause from elevated phos and trates

I love zoas! I keep about 5 to 8ppm nitrate and around 0.04 phosphates.

Yes, Sunnt D's, but I don't know the name of the other. The closed colony in the picture closes up when the have been at max for a while. It is open early and for a while when the lights are at max. These pictures were taken as lights were ramping down. That colony kinda hangs out half open during that time. I am considering placing them lower in the tank. No nitrates to speak of... Seldom makes 2.5 ppm, usually 0 to 1 ppm, even when I slam it with food and nitrate stock solution. I've targeted 5 ppm but have yet had the guts to put that much nitrate solution in the tank.

The only time I've seen these parameters matter with zoas is when they are 0, which is bad. I've been over 100 on nitrates and zoas were fine.

are those pink diamonds? Love those. Mine melted in me about 6 months ago. We’re doing so well and then out of nowhere just crapped out
Yeah they are. Definitely a favorite. One thing I have noticed with my zoas is if iodine dips low at all they will start to close up and wither. It's one of the first things I check it I notice problems.
