Wooooohoooooo! Way to go, @Lowell Lemon !
Thanks and love the Shedd I used to hang out there while my dad was in medical conventions at McCormick Place. This was back in the days when there was still a private airport on the lakefront and I could watch the planes from the Hotel.

Congratulations @Lowell Lemon on your excellence! Well deserved.
Thanks, have not been to New York in a very long time. Bumbled around the city with my dad at medical conventions. Saw the sites and sampled the food...what is not to like....well except getting around city traffic!

My dad's second cousin, Bob Lemon was a manager for the Yankees and got a couple rings and made it to the hall of fame. He was always called from the front office when Billy Martin would get fired by Stienbrenner and he would finish the season only to have Billy rehired to start the battle all over again. We would drop in on him and catch a game no matter what club he was working for. He and my dad grew up playing ball together. He told me my dad was good enough when he was younger to play some serious ball. A broken nose may have something to do with his decision to be a Doc instead. Great memories and good times.
