What is the easiest way to get a six-line wrasse out of a tank? I got a peppermint shrimp to help get some aptasia that is in my tank and right as the shrimp was about to get some (I was shocked because I hear they are hit and miss) but no sooner than the shrimp got to the aptasia BAM the dang wrasse attacks it and doesn't let up. I scared it off but couldn't stay at the tank and tonight I find the shrimp being cleaned up by my cuc.

Is there an easy way to get the fish out of the tank or is it time to fashion a little spear and go "fishing"?

I got lucky by catching mine in an acrylic fish trap. I couldn't catch it when I wanted but ended seizing the opportunity when came up. It's in my big tank with big tangs now. Not a jerk anymore. They seem to know you're after them. Good luck.

Yup fish trap box like this unless you want to make a mess.
Smart and wary fish….get a pillow….
No fault of the wrasse, normal.
