Why do Euphyllia hate me? They're my favourite and keep dying :(

Hi there. I've had my 310 gallon up and running for 1.5 years now. It's a mixed LPS/softie tank. I have been in the hobby for 6 years and never had aiptasia until now - which is driving me insane - but now I'm having another run of euphyllia deaths and it's really getting me down. This has happened twice now in the life of this tank. I LOVE LOVE LOVE euphyllia, particularly frogspawn and octospawn.

I'm getting very frustrated because I've checked parameters and everything is stable. Myself and my local fish guru who also helps with the tank have run water tests and nothing is out of whack. Soft corals are thriving and growing. The gold torch (not sure what kind, I got it for free with an online order) that I've had for 3 years between 2 tanks and probably almost 10 different frogspawns have died in the last month. A candycane has also died, as well as a birdsnest, chalice, and 2 montis.

The remaining frogspawns look great and are fully extended and fleshy. I don't get it.

SOMETHING IS WRONG and we've checked and re-checked everything.

I've started a cipro dosage schedule for the next 6 days and hope this is bacterial and that things get better.

If anyone else has had a similar experience it would be great to hear from you. Even if you never found answers at least I'd know that I'm not alone.

I've attached a couple of pictures (taken with yellow lens).

You can see there's a big orange frogspawn that looks great - the 2 skeletons next to it are prior neon green octospawns.

There's also a frogspawn in the second picture that looks great, but the one next to it I think is on the way out.

Do you dip you new addition? If it's not something you see in parameters, maybe a pest. Euphyllia eating flatworms? What are you parameters btw?

For a 1.5 yo tank your rocks still look rather bare. Are you doing any dosing? Perhaps posting params may help.

I do dip everything in CoralRX prior to addition and I keep them in a quarantine tank for at least a week afterwards to watch for pests. We did water tests yesterday but I didn't write them all down. Calcium is 430, salinity 1.025. Nothing was out of range or out of my ordinary however.

That arch of rock is a new addition. But, I do not have any coralline algae it's true. I've never had massive coralline growth in any of my tanks in 6 years. My fish guy says there's nothing to worry about but I also wonder about that.

New addition as in dry rock? Dry rock will bind po4 taking it to zero. Which softy and lps like higher levels and all coral require some po4.
