Hi ,

First of all thank you for reading my post . I use Triton ICP testing once every 3-4 months although I would like to do every month . Now as much as am happy with the turn around , I
never understood why does the phosphate reading come back so low for me when every test kit I have tested with - Hanna , ELOS and Red Sea shows way higher concentration .
Last test of mine in January showed PO4 of 0.06 ppm when in reality it’s actually over 0.5 ppm .
I have always thought it’s my test kit error but I know some people had the same experience . For example Shane from @SBB Corals too !

This I would like to know why is the difference and if we should ever rely on Triton PO4 testing and if Not , why bother printing it in the reports ?

Regards,
Abhishek

Thanks for the article . I have read it and hence my question as it’s not what happened in my case !

ICP could have read higher but in my case ICP keeps reading way lower than Hanna and ELOS
